Description
FAKE takes over the heart of the Lambert Collection for an immersive experience where, equipped with headphones, the spectator becomes a direct witness to a reality being constructed through sound. Building on the success of the previous project, this new installment unfolds a sensitive installation blending fragmented narratives, electronic music, and voices. In this space permeated by signs and hypotheses, our bearings waver: what we see, hear, and think we know becomes blurred. Between intimate perception, collective storytelling, critical inquiry, and surreal vox pop, FAKE questions our relationship to truth and reveals the power of the narratives that shape our realities.

Experience the Electrified Tale of “FAKE”

FAKE is a performance where the audience stroll around freely, wearing headphones that transmit a live musical backdrop. A loosely narrated version of Henrik Ibsen’s Peer Gynt constitutes the framework of this piece. Each participant can choose their own path, rhythm, and focal point within the set-up, as they drift constantly between reality and fiction. The audience embark upon an astounding aural voyage, and electronic sounds lead them to surpass the limits of physical space.
