Performances on Tour
I have always loved «Theater» as an artform, In the 80 when i started «storytelling/theater»
I was Inspired by Peter Brook. I wanted to search for a new form of Theater.
Reality led me to be a storyteller.
A storyteller never alone, always surrounded with artistic collaborations,
I have been structured as an independent company: « La compagnie du cercle ».
Creation,production,artistic collaborations, staff, selling, touring, more than 30 performances have been developed in my cie.
I have also always loved the theater as a building.
The space,the stage the lights,the sound everything is made for my idea of storytelling as an artform. Words,music and movements.
Why not use the stage for storytelling. I like large audiences.The forth wall is over, interaction is possible,
The here and now is of great density. All the shows you will find here are alive.
They have been created in the spirit of a search for an artform. Some have been touring for a long time,some are new,
some are in creation,the process never ends. Some of them have been filmed or recorded and you can find them in the Archives.
Fake
FAKE is a performance where the audience stroll around freely, wearing headphones that transmit a live musical backdrop. A loosely narrated version of Henrik Ibsen’s Peer Gynt constitutes the framework of this piece.
Each participant can choose their own path, rhythm, and focal point within the set-up, as they drift constantly between reality and fiction. The audience embark upon an astounding aural voyage, and electronic sounds lead them to liberate the limits of physical space.
